VGD Corporate Finance acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the owners during the sale of a 100% stake in the company Aitcom s.r.o.

The new owner is the investment fund – J&T Thein SICAV a.s., which has been established as a partnership between the former CEO of O2 Czech Republic, Mr. Tomáš Budník and J&T Private Equity Group Ltd.

Aitcom s.r.o. was founded by Mr. Pavel Čermák and Mr. Petr Čermák in 2005. The company is active in the field of complex ICT services and infrastructure in all phases, i.e. from audits and analysis of the ICT environment through the design and implementation of solutions, including subsequent maintenance and service. The company is able to serve tens of thousands of terminals and servers across the country and its services are used, for instance, by car manufacturers, insurance companies or the state administration.

Aitcom generates sales of CZK 150 million with its 34 employees.

J&T Thein SICAV a.s., which has been established as partnership between technology expert Tomáš Budník and J&T Private Equity Group Ltd., focuses on investments in technology companies in the field of ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity and application development for cloud solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The majority owner of the fund is Mr. Tomáš Budník. The fund’s portfolio includes SÍŤ, spol. s r.o.; net.pointers s.r.o.; PONEC s.r.o. and Aitcom s.r.o.

The transaction was successfully completed in December 2020.
