VGD Corporate Finance was the group’s exclusive transaction advisor Vendeavor during the sale of TANY, spol. s.r.o.

TANY is a leading Czech producer of a wide range of processed cheeses, both under its own brand and for major retail chains such as Makro, Tesco Stores, Penny Market, Ahold, Rohlik.cz or COOP. The company has been operating on the market for more than 30 years and is based in Nýrsko.

The buyer was the ADAX investment group.

The transaction for VGD Corporate Finance was managed by a team led by Jan Stránský and Marek Leja and was closed at the end of June 2022.

TANY (www.tany.cz) is a company producing a wide range of mainly processed cheeses in various formats and packages. They include brands such as Delicato, Šumavský Sýr, Ring or the Tudlee vegetable line. They also produce processed cheeses for the gastro sector in special large format packaging.

TANY’s sales in 2021 reached CZK 143 million with EBITDA of CZK 13 million. The company has 60 employees.

The Vendeavour Group (www.vendeavour.cz), headed by MUDr. Viktor Růžička, invests in profitable and innovative production and business enterprises. Its portfolio includes companies from the food industry, sustainable agriculture and construction or healthcare, such as GASTRO-MENU EXPRESS, České Houby, Druid, Freshbox or Domyrio.

ADAX Private Equity Fund SICAV a.s. (www.adaxinvest.cz) is a fund that was established in 2021 in cooperation with the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce, which is directly involved in managing the fund’s activities and building an investment portfolio of companies.

ADAX INVEST also recently successfully completed the acquisition of the company CM Trade Via, which deals in the distribution and sale of an assortment aimed at allergy sufferers, asthmatics and people suffering from eczema, operating the web portals Proalergiky.cz/ Proalergiky.sk. Within this previous transaction we have also assisted to the seller.
